Microchanneling
What is Microchanneling?
Microchanneling is an advanced collagen-building treatment that stimulates your skin’s natural repair process to improve fine lines, acne scars, uneven skin texture, skin tone, and overall skin health.
Every treatment is customized to your unique skin concerns, helping you achieve healthier, stronger-looking skin with long-term results.
ProCell Microchanneling
What's the difference between ProCell Microchanneling and microneedling?
Both treatments create tiny microchannels in the skin to stimulate your body’s natural collagen and elastin production.
The difference is in the technology and the treatment experience.
ProCell Microchanneling uses precision, stamp-style technology that creates clean, uniform microchannels while minimizing unnecessary skin trauma. It is designed to enhance the delivery of professional growth factor serums and can help improve the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, stretch marks, uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, and overall skin health with less downtime than many traditional microneedling devices.
At Skin Pro Lori, every treatment is customized to your skin concerns and long-term goals to help achieve healthier, stronger-looking skin over time.
Does ProCell Microchanneling Hurt?
Most clients find ProCell Microchanneling very comfortable. A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to help minimize discomfort.
One of the reasons many people choose ProCell Microchanneling over traditional microneedling is that its precision, stamp-style technology creates clean, uniform microchannels with less skin trauma. This often results in less redness, less downtime, and a quicker recovery, making it easier for many clients to get back to their normal routine.

How Many ProCell Microchanneling Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments depends on your skin concerns and goals.
While many clients notice improvements after their first treatment, a series of three treatments is typically recommended for the best collagen-building results.
For concerns such as acne scarring, 4–6 treatments may be recommended depending on the severity of the scarring and your individual skin goals.
During your consultation at Skin Pro Lori, we’ll evaluate your skin and create a personalized treatment plan designed to help you achieve the best possible results.
What Is the Downtime After ProCell Microchanneling?
Most clients experience some redness immediately after treatment, which usually subsides within 24 hours. ProCell Microchanneling has minimal downtime, allowing most clients to return to their normal routine the following day.
After your treatment, we recommend:
- Do not wear makeup until the following day.
- Avoid showering or washing your face until the following day.
- Avoid intense exercise, excessive sweating, and direct sun exposure for the first 48 hours.
