ProCell® Microchanneling in Charlotte and Monroe, NC
Support collagen. Improve texture. Build healthier-looking skin.
Have you started noticing fine lines, uneven pigmentation, dullness, or skin that feels less firm? Maybe your skin’s texture has changed, or acne scars and enlarged pores have become more noticeable.
ProCell® Microchanneling is a collagen-building treatment that helps improve skin texture, tone, and the appearance of fine lines and acne scars. I use a precise stamping technique paired with a growth-factor serum to support your skin’s natural repair process and gradual improvements in skin quality.
With 26 years of experience, I assess your skin and listen to what you want to improve before recommending a treatment plan. I personally provide every treatment, adjusting your care based on your skin’s needs and how it responds.
Before and After
Frequently Asked Questions
-
ProCell® Microchanneling is a collagen-building treatment that uses fine needles in a precise stamping motion to create tiny channels in the skin. This stimulates the skin’s natural repair process and supports new collagen production, helping improve skin texture, fine lines, and acne scars over time.
-
I apply a prescription-strength numbing cream before treatment to help keep you comfortable. Most clients feel very little beyond some light pressure, though individual sensitivity can vary.
-
ProCell® Microchanneling can help improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and uneven skin tone. It can also be used for stretch marks and to improve skin texture and crepiness on the neck, décolleté (upper chest), and knees. I assess your skin and goals to determine whether it’s the right treatment for you.
-
I usually recommend a series of three treatments. Acne scarring may require four to six treatments, depending on the severity of the scars. I assess your skin, goals, and response to treatment to determine how many sessions may be right for you.
-
Most clients are surprised by how little redness they have after treatment. Visible redness isn’t necessary for the treatment to work. Microchanneling creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the skin’s natural repair process and collagen production.
I send you home with aftercare products and instructions. Use only the aftercare I provide on your face that day. Avoid working out, excessive sweating, washing your hair, and direct sunlight for the rest of the day. Avoid saunas, steam, and excessive heat for 24 hours.
-
Both treatments create controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the skin’s natural repair process and collagen production. ProCell® Microchanneling uses a precise stamping motion rather than gliding a device across the skin, which may reduce dragging and tearing at the skin’s surface.
I apply a growth-factor serum during treatment while the tiny channels are open. These channels allow the serum to reach deeper into the skin than applying it to intact skin alone.
-
Many clients notice early improvements in their skin, but collagen builds gradually. It can take around three months to see more noticeable collagen-related changes, so patience is part of the process.
Results build with a series of treatments, which is why I typically recommend three sessions. If I’m pairing microchanneling with DualHi+ HIFU, I adjust the number and timing of treatments based on your skin, goals, and response.
-
I typically schedule treatments four weeks apart, but six weeks between sessions can work if that fits your schedule better. This gives your skin time to respond while allowing the benefits of each treatment to build upon the last. A consistent series helps support more noticeable improvements over time.
